A huge thanks to Midnight Alibi for having us at Boomerang Hotel on Friday. You boys absolutely rocked the place! We had an awesome time blasting out or set too, and really appreciated the fantastic support from all the fresh ears. Was truly a pleasure to check out the thriving live music scene in Albury. January 8th is fast approaching and the ever amazing Truckfighters will be gracing the stage at The Basement for the first time ever. We are lucky enough to be playing with these absolute legends so grab your tickets now to avoid disappointment. See you there!

Hello Albury! So far we've found awesome cheep beer, a pool, a fishing shop, cheap as mangos, super friendly locals and beer garden that is misting me down as I type. Get on down to The Boomerang tonight for a night of rockin' tunes and fine beverages!

Big thanks to all you awesome peeps who not only came out on Friday but stuck around waaaaay past nap time to check us out. We had a cracker of a time and hope you did too! Midnight Alibi, Cockbelch, Corpus Colloseum and Malk? all threw down killer sets that if you missed, you should be damn disappointed about. Thanks to Joel for having us and sticking to his guns with the promise of pants down. You're a trooper dude. And a shout out to all the bar staff for putting up with our antics once again. We appreciate that you haven't found cause to call the cops on us... yet. We are taking a trip down the road to Albury next, the 13th of November if you are interested in a road trip. And if you have any friends or family down that way, might want to give them a heads up. We are going to turn it up loud!

Tomorrow night is PEANUTFEST 2015! Midnight Alibi are lugging all the way up from Albury just to get a taste of what us Belcononians take for granted - some serious venue hospitality from The Basement and her fine crew. With the mighty Gallus Gallus Domesticus Eructate, or as they are affectionately known, Cockbelch spewing forth some home truths you may or may not be ready for. Corpus Colloseum and Malk? (aka NWE) will be tearing up the stage too so it promises to be a night of merriment, mayhem and murder!! Well hopefully not the last one. Too much paper work. See you downstairs!

Was just thinking to myself, "Self, we have played with a lot of bands over the last 4 years." and then I thought back to myself, "Yeah, I wonder how many it actually is?" Then I got creeped out by my inner monologue for a bit. Then I got hungry and ate a Taco. Then I wondered what I was wondering before my Tasty Taco Then I got creeped out again. Then I went and found all gig references and compiled a list. Then I accidentally deleted the list. Well, I won't bore you with the details but the grand total seems to be in the order of 219, give or take. Apologies if I have missed anyone but this is the internets memory I'm using here, not mine. If it were mine, the only band we would have on the list would be Tasty Taco. Oh and as a side note, we haven't even left Canberra. This is just a small sample of the amazing talent emanating from, and flowing through town . What a night! Thanks to all who made last Friday kick arse. We had a great time on stage and got a chance to fanboy out for the rest of the evening with some seriously killer tunes. Was an unbelievably fun line up, thanks again Shananigans Entertainment. You consistently deliver the goods! Next stop, Transit Bar on the 15th of August with the juggernaut that is Massive! With rock gods TONK and Johnny Roadkill strutting their stuff it should be another crazy night! So don't be the only kid on the block that isn't talking about how the very fabric of live music as we know it was changed forever when Sam accidentally plugged his guitar in to a pizza oven instead of his amp. Mmmm, shredded cheese.

A big thanks to all those who came out to Transit Bar on Friday for what was an awesome night of music. monsterpiece, Midnight Alibi and After Hollywood all played killer sets to an enthusiastic and eager crowd and we had a absolute blast up on stage. Big thanks to Damo for the sound, Jem for getting us all organised and the staff at Transit for being awesomely accommodating. We'll be back there soon, that's for sure. Next up we hit The Basement on the 10th of July with Troldhaugen, Witchskull, TTTDC and Renegade Peacock for what promises to be a crazy night of kick arse tunes. As usual, event page is in the comments so jump on over and sign up to save the date.

For your pleasure, Transit Bar is hosting an evening of tunes and merriment on the 19th of June. Your entertainment for the evening will be provided by monsterpiece, Kosciuszko Pale Ale, After Hollywood, White Rabbit Dark Ale, Midnight Alibi, and maybe some cider or spirits or something if you are that way inclined. Oh, and some dudes called Hence the Testbed who have been denied a GRAMMY this year for purely political reasons*. So come out and have some fun on us. It's FREE entry so you'll have plenty left over for tasty, tasty beverages. *We have to get better jobs and as such will finally have the funds but not the requisite skills due to lack of practice to record our potential GRAMMY award winning album because Joe Hockey doesn't want his $5.2 million dollar house to lose value**. **

Huge thank you to all who came out on Friday night! We made a few bucks to help train a dog that will bring people an incredible amount of joy which is not bad for a nights work if you ask me. And to all those of you who paid above and beyond the cover charge, you truly are legends! Feel free to do that at any of our shows in the future. I'll dress up in a dog suit if it helps? Next up we are travelling to Transit Bar on the 19th of June to sample some of their beers and sing a song or two. There isn't a cute, tiny animal involved yet but it's still early days. How do you guys feel about Guinea Pigs?

This is such an awesome cause that we are going to donate everything we make tomorrow night at The Basement to the training of Henry. So if you have a karmic debt that needs paying off, pop on down and balance those books with some belting tunes and brews. Brilliant! http://ift.tt/1KrlICC

This Friday sees an awesome mix of music at The Basement. Want soaring acoustic ballads? Got you covered with Silentia. Undulating grunge riffs? Grunge Monkee as Stone Temple Pilots will scratch that itch. Oh no you say, but I like my music more progressive than undulating. Bam! Got that too. The Kevin Windross Band and Taliesin will take care of you there. Tappy hour starts at 4:30pm with $4.50 tap beers so no excuse to get in late. See you there!

Our next outing is an unbelievable line up of bands. Shananigans Entertainment have put together a line up of doom! King Of The North, RED BEE and Troldhaugen. Not enough for you? well how about Renegade Peacock, Johnny Roadkill and Knights of the Spatchcock? No, still want more? Well how about Beast Impalor, Noveaux, The Revelers and Marc Robertson? A massive thank you to all those who came out on Friday night! We really appreciate the support even in to the graveyard shift. You are all dead set legends! The Melbourne contingent in Transience and Sorry Meditators were both in incredible form! What ever you are doing to breed these musos down south of the border, keep it up - that is unless it's some sort of crazy mutant breeding program or something where you have to test on rabbits. Cause that's not cool. Rabbits are for eating. And once again, Second Sun blew me away! Just the perfect amount of everything in all the right spots and some songs reminded me of a sound that I haven't heard around here for 15 years or more. A really good sound that I'm glad has made a return. If you missed out last time though, please don't despair! Second Sun and ourselfeses will be doing an encore performance on the 23rd of January at Smith's Alternative Bookshop. I'll be the one in the self help section, helping myself.
