A huge thanks to all who came out on Saturday to see From Hell's Heart, Na Maza, and Taliesin lay down some killer sets! Was a great night that I think was stolen by Lloyd. That was a huge effort my friend, incredibly well done and congratulations! Our next outing is going to be a big one too! We are hitting up the ANU Bar for Despite Evictions EP launch with Loud So Clear on the 30th of September. We've also heard tale that it is due for demolition soon, so if you want to come and pay last respects to the ANU bar it would be an awesome time to do so. Will be an honour to play on the stage where we saw killer shows like Metal for the Brain, Tool, Nirvana, Faith No More, The Rollins Band, Suicidal Tendencies, Karnivool, The Butterfly Effect, Liquid, Henry's Anger and Alchemist just to name but a meager few.

Mark the 9th of April down in you diary as the day you helped cure cancer. You can jot down that it will be pretty easy too. All you have to do is show up to The Basement and listen to some awesome local music after ponying up a measly 10 squidoos. Can't make it because you are stuck under a bus? Give us a call and we will come and lift it off for ya. No excuses! See you there!

We thought we were ready for the unleashing but all the needles still hit the red. This is why we don't need to mic him! **Please keep your volume at a reasonable level to avoid and damage to foundations and tall structures!**

A huge thanks to Shaggs and Shananigans Entertainment for letting us share the stage with so many amazing bands on Friday night. Was brilliant to see all the bands rock out so hard. Thanks to each and every one of you for showing us how it is done! Happy Birthday Shaggs! And if it is possible, an even bigger thanks to everyone who came out. Without your support we are just a bunch of sweaty, smelly (most of us anyway) musos standing around the pub looking like we've forgotten to turn the stove off. Shit! That reminds me. Gotta go...

Well that was really something else! Massive thanks to The Basement and her crew for having Witch Fight, F!*k the Fitzroy Doom Scene and Truckfighters tear the place a new one! It's fantastic that so many of you made it out to witness such a huge show. We had a kick arse time up on stage thanks to you guys. Cheers! Next up we hit the stage with another stellar line up for Shananigans 9 on the 12th of Feb. It's going to be another big show so make sure you don't have anything to do on the 13th other than recover!

Only a scant few days to go until Truckfighters blow The Basement apart on the 8th of Jan with Witch Fight and F!!k the Fitzroy Doom Scene! If you don't want to get stuck with us telling you the story of how epic their show was a million times, you'd better check them out so you can just raise you hand and say, "Dudes, I was there!". Then we can go and tell the story to some poor sucker who missed out. They will be so jealous that they will get the first flight out to Sweden just to see them. Then we can get them to bring back some Lingonberries for our pancakes too! Win³!
A great bloke who loves music and is a huge supporter of local and up and coming bands. The show on Mondays is always worth a listen. Thanks...
Get an earful of this! Transience will be dropping by The Basement on the 9th of Jan for what is set to be an awesome show with ourselves, S...
